February 05, 2008» Poster design for GI JOE FEST 2008
It all started in San Francisco, when I came across the Gi Joe miniatures released by Takara called GI JOE"S GI JOE, released for the action figure's 40th Anniversary.
The photo shoot, took longer than expected. Lighting problems mostly. But I think the results will speak for themselves. I also shot a little stop-motion for the opening of the West Coast Tour Reel. I allowed time for still photo shoots in between setups. In these cases I used flash and tried different lights. Here is the video clip, and here are some of the stills:

So, I turned 36 Last Wednesday. My argument that I'm not quite middle age is actually slipping away from me. Oh well. I still feel as good as I did through most of my 20's even though I may be a little bit bigger and grumpier. It sounds like a serious age and some people call it the age of maturity and completeness. Strangely I don't feel as such. First I thought that maybe I'm reaching the first half of my life but honestly speaking, I know that this is not relevant. What the heck, what matters is the present. Bring it on 2008. » posted at
