November 26, 2007» PondPatrol is an Award Winning Series (sort of)
Well, it just turned out that Miss Herbst won an Emmy Award with that same story. The Heartland Emmy Awards that is, for the Heartland Chapter (which includes Denver, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Wichita-Hutchinson, Omaha, Colorado Springs-Pueblo, Lincoln/Hastings-Kearney, Topeka, Grand Junction-Montrose and Cheyenne-Scottsbluff. It's certainly a big deal.

November 24, 2007» The New Wood StoveWith the addition of a new wood stove for our house, Jena and I were in serious need of fuel (wood) to heat our home. Oh, boy...what a task. Since the old "Toaster Truck" has been gone since last year, we were left with Mr. Legrand's station wagon to do the job:
Yes, we managed just fine, thank you very much. HA!

November 01, 2007» nuqDaq 'oH puchpa''e' is Klingon for where is the bathroomIn the traditional sense, the Klingon people hold honor above life. And as a tradition at the Toninelo's House in North America, Halloween could not pass without proper remembrance. Here at our house (thanks to Jenny) we honor this pagan observance like the Klingons would honor their reputation among themselves. "Kapla"!!!! (Klingon for success or victory or something similar..... Although I must say: my teeth look pretty good for a Klingon). Happy Halloween 2007!
