What's wrong with this picture? Well, nothing really. In fact the picture above is exactly the same as the one below. The difference: Lighting! I've been shooting Episode #72 down at my basement. Proper lighting and a fog machine certainly make things look a lot better.

Calling all filmmakers with works in stop-motion animation of GI JOES! The 1st GI JOE STOP MOTION FILM FESTIVAL is now accepting works for the following categories:

-- Short Film. Produced, written or directed by media makers using GI Joe dolls. No longer than 20 minutes (deadline postmarked April 30th).

-- Music Video. Produced, written or directed by media makers of using GI Joe dolls (deadline postmarked April 30th).

-- For Youth by Youth. Open to film and video submissions produced, written or directed by youth media makers using GI Joes between 15-19 years old no longer than 20 minutes (deadline postmarked April 30th).

"The 1st GI JOE STOP MOTION FILM FESTIVAL is the nation's first festival dedicated to screening works by media artists who use GI Joe figures (12" and/or 3 ¾ sizes) as main characters or actors".The Festival is being sponsored by PondPatrol.com and will be held in Denver, CO, September, 2007.
