So winter arrived. The good ol'days of riding my scooter were cut in half. I never seen a winter so harsh in Denver like this one. So cold, so earlier. It's so bad we had a "roll over" accident on our way to Copper Mountain last Thursday (hence, no snowboarding this week). Believe it or not we drove away...no one got hurt, not even the car. Kudos to Mark Joseph, our driver. Here's a pic of the turtle pond, so you can see how bad things are right now:

Another problem I'm having with 2006's winter: taking pictures for PondPatrol.com. With the vegetation gone, it's really hard to find an angle where the city doesn't appear:

Sometimes I have to give up on a great shot (like the one above), just because I refuse to Photoshop any of the pics. If the PondPatrol story sucks, at least the pictures are good (they are real). And honestly, they are art (of some sort), this is how I make PondPatrol worthy under my eyes. I've been also working on design work. A series of logos for the Colorado Turtle Club, called Shell's Angels and posters for our Music Room at the St. Mark's Coffee House.
