» Ubisububi - Performance Room

Last Sunday the Ubisububi Room (at St. Mark's basement) had its "Soft Opening". We had a full house for Lonesome Dan Kane's show. We are looking for acoustic performers and we are officially open for business. Bring it on!

A great article by Jennifer Layton about the Josh Novak show at the South Park Music Festival:

» PondPatrol.com - The acclaimed internet series #6

Pond Patrol (Pondpatrol.com) has taken a life of its own. Sometimes I get asked how's everyone doing? Crazy, ah? John Harris (the main character) has his own MySpace.com page with new friends being added daily. The setups are now taking half of the space of my office. I had no idea it was going to be this way. It started with a single G.I. Joe figure standing by my turtle pond "protecting the shore". Honestly, I LOVE IT!

» Sleep tight little turtles...

Well winter finally came, it's snowing this morning. It's been a crazy year, I got married and I adopted another 5 turtles. Some were rescued from bad homes, another adopted from the Reptile Humane Society. Let's start with Maude and Harold, my first boxies: Hibernating. I bought a little wine fridge from Craigslist.com for $33.00 and set it up with a air pump.

They are doing just fine. I also had Harvey in there, but it's been almost a week and he was still awake. He is an integrated box turtle (adopted from Corhs) really hard to tell the subspecies. So I'm pulling him out of hibernation.

He's going to stay with Guadalupe, the wood turtle. She is doing great and has been eating a ton. Rizo, a southern painted, was in a fight with Number 7, a Red Eear Slider who was given to me by the ownner of Reptilian Haven. She got a tiny eye infection that had to be treated. She's now back at the pond with Number 7. They are both hibernating and doing fine. Danny, a western painted had lost a bit of weight and ended up in the turtle tank. Brought up the temps and he's eating again. He will probably spend the winter indoors.

Basically, everything is well at the Zerogerman Turtle Ranch.
