September 24, 2005» Talking about TurtlesDuring the Hibernation Workshops (in Longmont, CO) I met a lot of people who keep turtles as pets. So I collected some e-mail addresses and asked people if they were interested in forming a turtle club. This September 28th 2005 I will host the first meeting, of what could be the first Amateur Keepers' Turtle Club of Denver. And the best part: Ann-Elizabeth Nash, director of the Colorado Reptile Humane Society will be joining us. Great stuff! » posted at

September 15, 2005» PondPatrol.com - The acclaimed internet series #5
I finally got my stickers! Yeah!!!! We are now, officially online. I have no idea where the story is gonna go. And that's the beauty of it. As far as I know everyone on PondPatrol could become superheroes (not likely...hehehe). I need a theme song... » posted at

» The greatest band on Earth - part 2
It was a cold day up in the mountains. We spend most of the day trying to figure out where we would be playing. You see, they set us up in the "Patio Stage" where the singer songwriters were playing. Thing is: We are a band. We need more space and equipment. The organizers were kind enough and somewhat, fast enough to get it all back to normal. We played at the Park Tavern Stage, which honestly was one of the few decent and warm places during the festival. Thanks Saam! » posted at

September 08, 2005» 6 turtles and counting...When I was 10 or 12 years old, we had a turtle. A little "Brazilian Slider"...poor thing lived in a Pyrex (glass bowl). At 13 my brother and I used to pick Sidenecks at the neighborhood swamp and bring them home. We kept them in our plastic swimming pool. Then a few years ago I got my first two turtles as an adult. Harold & Maude. Two Three-Toed Box Turtles. Jena and I bought a house and ever since my turtle collection keeps getting bigger: Welcome Harvey to the Family!

September 03, 2005» Everyone needs a Home (PondPatrol.com - The acclaimed internet series #4)Ok. So I'm setting a launch date: Sept. 14th 2005. PondPatrol is already online, thanks to my sister Carmela. I'm finishing up some minor details, I want to make sure PondPatrol will have a prosper life here on the Net. The story has to continue, no matter how bad it is, but I have to make sure it keeps on going, that's bottom line. I somehow developed a bad habit, almost like an addiction. Exemple: Last night before getting in the movie theater to see 2046, by Wong Kar-wai, Jena and I were supposed to go to DC Gallery and others, since yesterday was "First Friday" (when Denver galleries have their openings for the month). Well, instead we ended up at BigLots which is one of the few distributors for the M&C Toy's Power Team (G.I. Joes are out of stock till Christmas). That was just perfect for me. I found a "Combat Controller" for only U$8.00. I was happy. No art. But an action figure. I'm honestly running out of room in my office. I keep telling Jena: "Better action figures than porn or drugs, right?" And my poor wife has no choice but to agree. Anyway, a sneak preview of the first episode:
