» Yes, this is a new post.

With only a week left (to my wedding), things are starting to get a bit hectic. My office job had to be put on the side, St. Mark's is about go on the sack for two weeks also. We are getting there with the preparatives, though. I'm actually here for you, not for me, dear avid reader...(he...he...he....) I can't really waste any time. Well, the Jack Redell documentary was shot last week and it was a terrific thing. About 8 hours of footage to be edited in less than two months. Great stuff, I must say. Mr. John Hartman, my cameraman delivered the images today! Can wait to start. And...so I have something to show you, here are my two new babies (turtles):

By the way, the new show schedule is up on the front page!

» Tchau!

So it's been a while. With only about a month to my wedding, things are falling into place at Lipan St. Hard-wood floors where put in and finished, the pond construction is finally done (including a water fall), only missing the aquatic plants and aerator. Regardless, I can't stop to think about the other details: touch-ups on the paint job, refinish furniture, cleaning, patio, not to mention: food, drinks and whatever else one may need at a wedding. Ok, if I wasn't working at the office logging footage from Brazil, and tending St. Mark's, perhaps things would be easier to get done. So I'm sort of freaking out. Help me!

My good friend, and fellow musician, Mr. Jack Redell, know to me as only Mark, is leaving town. Once nominated Best Singer-songwriter in Denver, by the Westword, Jack is moving to Cincinnati, OH. On Friday night, he played his last show in Denver (at least for a while, we hope). Like I didn't have enough to do, I was asked to shoot a 10 min. documentary about Jack's becoming. None the less, the show was a marvelous 45 minutes of the best folk music you can find in this part of the country. It's a shame that artists like Jack have to leave town to keep making a living. Good Luck there ol'friend!
