March 31, 2005» Not a chance...Since Terri Schiavo died (thank God it's over), I had to post. Well, of course that isn't the reason. A few new things happened in the last few weeks and I'll start by telling that I scored a new job. It's part-time perhaps 10 to 20 hours a week. I'll be working at a film studio (which I rather not mention here for professional reasons) doing some translation work for a documentary, which is being filmed in Brazil, and also some cutting and editing. The way I see it: I always wanted to go to school to learn a bit more about the way movies are made. Now I can learn and instead of paying for it, I'll be getting payed. Thanks to my 2004 feature "the one eyed man..." (which is in the download page):
Harold and Maude are back from hibernation. I had to raise the temps here at the house, gradually for two days. They did it pretty well. No eye infections, not weight loss. Just two cute piles of joy. They were really hungry, though...
The kits are a bit hard to put together, but once done, they are beautiful. I'm going to need some modeler's paint and some more cement when the 2nd and 3rd order arrive. Straight from Singapore. And of course I had to post about the show last night at the Larimer Lounge. It was fun, and besides the snow, people showed up.
