» Another summer day

It's funny how when you get older, the days, and weeks seem to roll by faster, almost like pilling up on each other. Wasn't wednesday yesterday?. I guess we always have something going on...something that needs to be done...When we were kids we didn't care, or we actually wanted the days and weeks to pass a little faster. Perhaps so we could have another birthday or so the summer vacation would come sooner. That's all we cared. Now if we could, we would be bidding for more time at E-Bay.
We went thrifting yesterday. Bought two copies of The Gods Themselves, by Asimov. So Jena and I are able to read the story at the same time. A bargain: $0.50 cents each. That was Jena's idea.
While she was looking for the books, I scored another figurine for my little doll collection:

A 1969 Scotish figure built out of auto bolts and nuts called: Wee Mac Nut...he...he...he!
And for my surprise this morning, I got a tomato ripening!

I can only hope that this Wednesday would go as slow as my turtles can move...
